The head of Computer Engineering Department (Prof. Dr. Ahmed S. Abdul-Amir) received an appreciation letter, and certificate from Journal of Engineering – University of Baghdad for reviewing a research paper entitled: (Link Failure Recovery for a Large-Scale Video Surveillance System Using a Software Defined Network). 

Prof. Dr. Ahmed S. Abdul-Amir received an appreciation certificate from the University President (Prof. Dr. Emad Hussein Marzah Al-Husseini) and the 250 Initiative Committee for publishing research papers in international journals indexed in Clarivate Analytics – web of science database, for his participation with the research paper “An adaptive swing-up sliding mode controller design for a real inverted pendulum system based on Culture-Bees algorithm” in the European Journal of Control, on the celebration ceremony on 30-6-2019 held at the University of Technology.

The computer engineering department head (Prof. Dr. Eng. Ahmed S.
