Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan, the head of the department, and the administrative assistant (Dr. Hassan Ohyad Jyyad), visited the Dormitory building No. 9, look up for the problems of the students and the obstacles they face in order to find solutions for them and providing suitable conditions for studying.

The graduate follow-up unit in the Department of Computer Engineering held a training course entitled "Microsoft Office" in the conference hall in the department for two days on 22-11-2017 and 4-12-2017 from 10:30 - 12:30 am, It was given by Eng. Ali Sami Hashim in the presence of a number of students and graduates.

The Department of Computer Engineering held a training course entitled "Computer Maintenance" in a department Lab on 11-12-2017 from 10:30 am to 12.30 am. The workshop was given by Eng. Ayad Esho Korial and attended by a number of students and graduates.

On 7-12-2017, a delegation from Imam Hussein College (peace be upon him) honored the Department of Computer Engineering for the efforts made by the Department in supervising the final-term exams Imam Hussein College. The delegation was received by the head of the department (Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan), the dean deputies and heads of the branches.

The department council was met in the Department of Computer Engineering on 7-12-2017 at the meeting hall, several issues related to students were discussed, especially the new students and evening studies. The members of the council gathered to overcome the obstacles face students and urged them to strive and study. Head of Department (Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan) declared that the department staff should listen to the students’ problems and suggest solutions to them.
